2017-2023 Under the joint support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Wuhan Municipal People's Government, China International Industrial Design Expo has been successfully held for six times. Each exhibition has nearly 400 domestic and foreign exhibitors, with an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters. The success of the previous six exhibitions has demonstrated the development achievements of China's industrial design industry, publicized the important role of industrial design, and promoted exchanges and cooperation in the industrial design industry. In order to show the development level and future development trend of China's industrial design, it is proposed to continue to organize the 7th China International Industrial Design Expo in Wuhan.

The 7th China International Industrial Design Expo

The 7th China International Industrial Design Expo (CIDI Expo), organized by the International Economic and Technical Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Electronics and Information Industry Sub-Council, will be held on November 20-22, 2024 in Wuhan.

The expo has local exhibition area, international exhibition area, creative concept exhibition area and other exhibition areas, and will hold the main forum, new product launch, young designers salon, “designer night” and other activities. It is intended to invite leaders of national and provincial ministries and commissions, experts and scholars in the field of industrial design at home and abroad, and leading enterprises in the field of design to participate in the event, so as to promote deepening exchanges and cooperation among all parties in the field of industry, academia and research and to promote the breakthroughs in key core technologies and the transformation of innovative achievements.
